Music has played a vital role in the life of DJ TRIPPS. His parents have a love for live music, taking their son to see iconic performers such as Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Depeche Mode, U2, The Police, and the famous Burning Man Festival. These performers and once in a lifetime events left a lasting impact on TRIPPS’ life and inspired his passion of performing before live audiences.
In the summer of 2011, TRIPPS was working at an upscale Lounge and Restaurant in Southern California. The venue wasn’t as popular as other late-night bars and clubs, but TRIPPS saw potential in its spacious lounge and outdoor patio. He organized and promoted his first event for Halloween, with over a hundred people on the guest list. Two nights before the party, the DJ cancelled, leaving TRIPPS without any live music. Instead of cancelling, TRIPPS decided to DJ himself. The event ended up being a huge success, becoming the highest grossing night the bar had ever seen. TRIPPS continued to seek out opportunities to organize additional events and DJ gigs. Soon, his shows became the most popular events in the area.
More DJ gigs became available in Southern California, including nightclubs. But TRIPPS had his eyes set on a bigger, brighter picture. Las Vegas. He moved to Vegas and began working in the nightlife industry. Six years later, and TRIPPS has played in the most popular nightclubs in Las Vegas and California and has shared the stage with some of the industry’s biggest performers & DJs.
TRIPPS is passionate about live music. He connects to his audience through rhythm, pumping up the crowd with his nonstop energy and unique sound. Being a true ‘all genre’ DJ has, and will continue to be, a hallmark of his music career.
